What is compelling about your domain?
Thinking back to when I started college, I remember being drawn to studying economics & finance because of their criticality to daily life. I felt that the financial system was a crucial, fundamental structure that impacted almost every facet of my own life and the lives of those around me. Understanding it on my own would provide a sense of independence and opportunity.
My excitement about fintech and software today arises from a similar sense of outsized significance. Fintech & software underlie almost everything, and have huge capacity to disrupt industries, change processes, and improve upon pain points. It is invigorating to invest in the space because I am continuously learning about new opportunities for disruption or improvement, and am able to support the visionary founders catalyzing these meaningful changes.
