What do you love about working for Bain Capital Ventures?
I’m a history nerd at heart, so I appreciate Bain Capital’s four decades of stories partnering closely with businesses of all shapes and sizes. The best part? Helping founders craft their own stories – alongside colleagues who share my relentless curiosity and passion for storytelling.
What do you look for when you partner with a founder?
I look for founders obsessed with shaping the future. Do you care deeply enough to push past what’s comfortable into what’s possible? If that’s you, I want to amplify your vision and help you transcend convention.
What are your interests and passions outside of BCV?
My fluency in policy ebbs and flows, but I’m continually fascinated by regulatory shifts and the strategic opportunities they unlock. In college, I built a company leveraging healthcare price transparency laws to help stakeholders negotiate better contracts. Ever since, I’ve kept a close eye on policy proposals for potential regulatory arbitrage. (Plus, the acronyms always make me chuckle).
What advice would you give your younger self?
Raise the scale of your ambition. Pursue it relentlessly.
What is a self-care ritual you practice?
Indulgently long showers.
What inspires you?
My family – they did the hard work of immigrating to America, teaching me to cherish the vibrancy in everyday life and honor the quiet strength of generational resilience. 🇰🇷🇺🇸
