Meet Ron Miasnik, Our Newest Partner

We are proud to announce that Ron Miasnik is Bain Capital Ventures’ newest partner. Prior to joining BCV as an investor, Ron was CEO of our portfolio company Duality Labs.
Ron steers some of BCV’s important thematic areas. He leads our practice in Israel, where we have invested more than $150M over the past year in companies like Dream, Grain and Daylight, building on BCV's long history of investing in Israeli innovation, with early investments in Armis and Redis. Ron has a deep connection to Israel — his parents grew up in the Tel Aviv suburbs, he has organized tech delegations to the country since college, and he worked at Aleph, a local fund, before joining BCV. We are believers in the Israeli ecosystem, and are grateful to have Ron at the helm of our efforts there.
Ron also spearheads our work in tech-enabled services, including applying AI to transform often-overlooked, traditional service sectors. This work has led us to build and invest in new service businesses such as Crosby, roll up existing businesses, and begin forging relationships that help BCV's AI expertise flow through the firm.
His work at BCV and Bain Capital also extends globally. Ron sourced an Indian marketplace company (Pronto) and an Austin-based robotics startup (others unannounced); he has built valuable connectivity for the firm in the Gulf; and he organizes fellowship programs for engineers in San Francisco and New York.
Whether calling into an investment committee from Cyprus after taking an Israeli war escape boat, exchanging pleasantries in Mandarin with native-speaking founders, or sharing tips for yak herding from his time living on the Tibetan Plateau, Ron brings fresh thinking and a global perspective.
His talent is connecting insights, ideas, and people across the world that others may have overlooked. We are excited to celebrate Ron’s promotion to partner, and know he will continue to bring his entrepreneurial spirit and curiosity to this new role.
